Rexroth is upgrading the extensive IndraControl V HMI equipment range with significantly higher efficiency and more compact dimensions. The revised panel PCs and box PCs with control units are based exclusively on components with long-term availability and meet the requirements even for extremely difficult ambient conditions. Rexroth is supplementing the new top performers with an extensive range of key, touch screen and combination control panels with an extremely flat design.

The Rexroth IndraControl VSP and VPP panel PCs cover the entire range from standard applications through to high-end applications. The IndraControl VSP is tapping into the latest PC technology for use in automation, from the individual machine to whole production lines. Rexroth uses standardized hardware and software to achieve this. The extremely compact IndraControl VPP are particularly suitable for use in harsh industrial conditions. Rexroth guarantees a minimum of 5 years’ serviceability for all IPCs.

The IPCs from the IndraControl range have an external UPS and their components are ideally tailored to each other to ensure maximum performance. By choosing components with long-term availability, Rexroth is ensuring high investment protection. The similarity of the design also simplifies the duplication of control systems after many years, reducing commissioning and service costs considerably. The use of mass storage on the basis of solid state disk (SSD) technology increases the availability and reliability of the IPCs even in adverse conditions. The vibration- and shock-proof IPCs with an optimized cooling concept offer a wide scope for machine-specific adaptations by the user with up to 6 free slots.

The panel PC range is supplemented with an extensive range of 12“, 15“ and 17“ TFT operator control units with a membrane keyboard, touch screen or combination version. In the box PCs for control cabinets Rexroth provides extremely flat operator terminals with a mounting depth of just 46 mm. The user can connect up to four displays to one box PC using cables of up to 80 meters long.

The range of IndraControl V products has been expanded with two new compact control units in aluminum housings with a touch screen, three buttons and an emergency-off function. The handy units, with either an 8.4“ or 15“ touch display (TFT) conform to protection class IP 65 at the front and can easily be mounted using a VESA adapter.
