Rexroth provides a great number of master communication interfaces, thus facilitating the integration of the IndraDrive family in existing system topologies. These intelligent and open drives support various field busses, such as SERCOS 2, PROFIBUS, CANopen, DeviceNet or analog and parallel interfaces. Today, IndraDrive is easily integrated in various automation architectures and network topologies, thanks to new Industrial Ethernet-based interfaces, like SERCOS III, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET RT, PROFISAFE, and EtherCAT.

The seamless platform, which is precisely scalable according to customer requirements, provides the user with more than one hundred technology functions. The “safe halt” and “safe motion” safety functions which are certified according to EN-954-1, Category 3, and other functions have already proven their worth in many applications. The use of internationally recognized interfaces allows the user to use these technology functions individually and easily, even in mixed system topologies.
